Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 27, 2026

1. Our Promise to You

We promise that we will never steal your personal data, sell it, or engage in any harmful activity. Your privacy is our priority.

We believe in minimal data footprint. ArrowVerse-Multiplayer is built to be a challenging puzzle game, not a data tracking machine. All components of the game are designed to ensure your identity remains completely anonymous and your experience remains secure.

This Privacy Policy applies to the ArrowVerse-Multiplayer game, including the mobile application available on Google Play and this website, along with any related services provided by the developer.

2. What We Collect & Why

To run the game's core functionalities and ensure secure, stable multiplayer matching, we collect the following points of data:

  • Anonymous System ID: A randomly generated string unique to your app installation (e.g. SYS-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXX). Used to save/synchronize your single-player progress and coordinate multiplayer scoreboards.
  • Display Name: A custom name or alias (defaults to "Guest") to identify you in multiplayer matches and leaderboards.
  • Device Metadata (OS and OS Version): Platform type (e.g., Android, iOS) and its version number to ensure app compatibility and debug player session stability.
  • IP Address: Standard network routing parameters to establish secure socket connections for multiplayer lobbies, prevent database spam, and defend against malicious server activity.

This information is collected and processed for the following reasons only:

  1. To save and synchronize your single-player level progress (stars earned, highest unlocked level).
  2. To enable multiplayer matchmaking and track multiplayer scores so you can compete fairly.
  3. To recognize administrative access (if explicitly granted for level development).
  4. To maintain API rate limiting, room security, and spam prevention.
All stored information (except anonymous scores) is encrypted at rest in our databases. The Anonymous System ID and associated display names do not map to real-world individuals or hardware-specific identifiers like device IMEI or MAC addresses.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We enforce a strict No-PII (Personally Identifiable Information) collection policy for our game players.

We explicitly do NOT collect, read, transmit, or store:

No Personal Contacts

No Real Names, Emails, Phone Numbers, Passwords, or Social Media Accounts.

No Persistent Hardware IDs

No device IMEI codes, MAC addresses, serial numbers, or hardware metadata.

No Precise Location

No GPS coordinates, cell tower triangulation, or active location tracking.

No Local Storage Scanning

No access to photo galleries, media files, contact books, or call history.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We believe in data hygiene. Your level progress and anonymous ID are stored on our database. To keep our servers clean:

30-Day Auto-Deletion Policy: If your anonymous System ID remains inactive for more than 30 consecutive days (i.e. you do not open the app or connect online), your entire record, including level progress and multiplayer statistics, is automatically deleted from our servers permanently.

You can also manually trigger a complete local progress reset anytime through the game settings menu using the "Reset Progress" button.

Users may also request deletion of any server-stored game data associated with their anonymous System ID by contacting us through the email address provided in this policy.

5. Data Security

Your game configuration and scores are stored in a secure Redis server environment behind structured API gateways.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect stored game data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot make unconditional guarantees against all possible breaches.

6. Third-Party Services

We integrate the following external service for live gaming features:

  • Pusher: Used to transmit real-time events for multiplayer lobby matching and instant level updates. Pusher only routes temporary socket triggers containing your anonymous System ID and does not log, save, or harvest any personal profiles.
  • Expo: The application is built using the Expo framework, which may include Expo services and Google Play Services required for app delivery, stability, and functionality. Expo does not collect personal information on our behalf.

7. Children's Privacy

ArrowVerse-Multiplayer is a family-friendly game and does not contain mature themes, violent media, or marketing trackers.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the game does not require user accounts, names, email addresses, or phone numbers, no personal information is intentionally collected from any user regardless of age.

8. Your Rights & Options

You hold complete control over your gameplay:

  1. Play Offline: You can disconnect your internet and play the entire singleplayer campaign offline. The game will save progress locally.
  2. Reset Progress: Use the Settings menu inside the app to wipe your statistics.
  3. Opt-Out: Uninstall the app at any time. Your cloud database registry will clear automatically after 30 days of inactivity.

9. Changes & Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest policy will always be published on this website and will be viewable directly inside the game settings menu.
